Sweater weather is real, people! Every year I tend to forget that temperatures do drop around this time in my country too. Not that our thermometers hit below zero, but we do get fresh mornings and brisk nights.
I love chunky knits, but I don’t usually get to wear them here; however the past weeks have given us the chance to get all cosy in warm socks and sweaters. And around here it doesn’t get any more Christmassy than this, I guess?
I hope you guys like it, and sorry about my absence lately!
Hi, everyone! A few days ago I stumbled upon these chunky heel, track sole sandals. They struck me as sturdy, yet feminine with a hot vibe. Not only do they elevate you to a whole new height, but they are comfortable as can be. I’ve tried them out with a few different outfits and they are a total game changer! They instantly add a touch of cool to any ensemble, which is really a trait that I look for when I am accessory shopping. So here is one of the outfits that I put together around the sandals. What do you think of it?!
Last week, someone reminded, in a very sweet way, that we do not need to dress up, climb onto towering heels, or wear unsurmountable amounts of make-up to look chic and stylish. Far from that, class and grace are best perceived in simplicity. Being natural is, most of the times, the way to show our most attractive selves. For this post, I decided to stick to this “less is more” principle, and I wandered into a natural palette of skin-tone, and brown colours. A smooth coat of burgundy lipstick, as a final touch, pulls the look together. Continue reading →
Speaking of collaborations on the last post, made me want to share with you an outfit with my Peter Pilotto x Target top, and voilà!, here it is. Although it may give some a feeling of dizziness, I really like the print on the top, and I particularly like mix matching it with other prints. However for this occasion I decided to keep it simple, and so I paired it up with these military green harem-like trousers. I finished the look by adding black accessories.
This is my last outfit post from my short Canadian trip. We shot this at Unionville’s Main Street – a super cute village. For this visit in town, I decided to wear a very comfy look since it was all about walking and discovering the corners of this beautiful setting. I love this pair of leather-like, high waisted jeans, as they are simple, yet chic. I combined them with my favourite plain white t-shirt, and I tied a denim shirt around my waist to add to the laid-back mood. My new pair of flat sandals (which I got on sale!) were ideal for this outing. Since the outfit was not too bold, I decided to add a whole bunch of bracelets to give it a punch. I hope you love it!
