When it comes to casual dressing, I have a pattern: plain t-shirts + skinny jeans. I know these t-shirts may be basic, at times, but there is a certain ease to them that makes them somewhat cool. I liked this gray top the moment I saw it, and then I turned it, and, what do you know!…, it was even better! The unexpected back detail came as a total surprise, and it just adds an interesting twist to the tee.

Gauzy

IMG_6875These past weeks have come with warm mornings and hot afternoons, so layering has really not been an option. Creating easy breezy outfits is really a key to surviving the sweltering days. Hence, I’ve been inclined to wear light, gauzy skirts, and sleeveless tops as a my strategy for beating the heat.

At Unionville

This is my last outfit post from my short Canadian trip. We shot this at Unionville’s Main Street – a super cute village. For this visit in town, I decided to wear a very comfy look since it was all about walking and discovering the corners of this beautiful setting. I love this pair of leather-like, high waisted jeans, as they are simple, yet chic. I combined them with my favourite plain white t-shirt, and I tied a denim shirt around my waist to add to the laid-back mood. My new pair of flat sandals (which I got on sale!) were ideal for this outing. Since the outfit was not too bold, I decided to add a whole bunch of bracelets to give it a punch. I hope you love it!
