While looking into this season’s trends, I read somewhere on the net that “if it isn’t off the shoulder it isn’t right”. And according to every other designer, this is one the truest statements that sums SS17’s runways. Although slowly, but surely the shoulder mania is reinterpreting itself -I dare to say that we will soon be witnessing the revival of the one-shoulder trend, as opposed to the current whole collarbone exposure-, we still are in the major boom of cold shoulders. The already hot temperatures, make me very thankful for the trend, and so, here I leave you with a little number that makes me crave even more for summer. I hope you guys like it!
PS: Oh and btw, I’m absolutely nuts over these gorgeous, super colorful and practical Colombian bags! So proud of my friend from @Mestizo_sv!
Hi everyone! Last weekend I took a little escapade to the beach. The palms, the sun and the the refreshing sparklings were the perfect company for a short getaway. It all reminded me of this shoot I did, not too long ago. The greens, harmoniously, contrasting with the dashes of yellow and red of the backpack and romper; and the light blue of the shirt works well for an easy cover up.
This time of the year, I absolutely abhor wearing anything that won’t let me stay fresh. On top of the blistering temperatures, I’ve never had my hair this long, which as much as I love, its an extra source of unwanted heat. This is why, my uniform for these days has been a pair of high waisted shorts and a breezy top. How do you beat the weather?
Wishing you a great week ahead! And happy holidays!
These past weeks have come with warm mornings and hot afternoons, so layering has really not been an option. Creating easy breezy outfits is really a key to surviving the sweltering days. Hence, I’ve been inclined to wear light, gauzy skirts, and sleeveless tops as a my strategy for beating the heat.
With all the Coachella vibes in the air, a boho look felt more than right. I love off-the-shoulder pieces and the flared sleeves on this top make it even more special. Pairing the blouse with shorts makes it perfect to beat the hot temperatures. To finish the look a gold backpack and a crown of flowers add the final boho details.
