Hi guys! Remember my grey look from a couple of posts ago? Well, I took the same asymmetrical skirt and styled it in a more casual, sporty way. Let me know which look do you like the most?
Now that the new year is here, I am sure we are filled with excitement, and desire the to be better, to dare more, and to strive for greatness; in two words: TO CHANGE. In the little attempt to do so, I have been thinking that change doesn’t always need to be drastic. Most big changes occur over long periods of time. As a matter of fact, I truly believe that the best type of change, the ones that will last and make a difference are the small, but persistent ones. Like the drop of water that smoothes the surface of a rock, so will small changes polish us, and our societies in a steady, patient manner. And so, as we have heard so many times, if we want change, we have to make it happen, but I propose we do it in small doses.
Hi everyone! We have already stepped into a new season. A season of rich colours and textures; a season to turn to comforting food and cosy clothes. Albeit, El Salvador is not a country that drops into winter temperatures, we surely get the chilling breeze of the end of the year; specially at night, when the cold wind delights us the most with the smell of Christmas. So trying out suedes, long sleeves and ruffles seems just right. Cheers to the new season!
Hi guys! This time of the year, sunny mornings are usually followed by chilly afternoons and rainy evenings. A golden rule of mine: never leave home wihtout a jacket and an umbrella. Lately, I have become a bomber jacket fan, and this one is a particular favourite, it goes well with pretty much anything. A few days ago, I was going for a relaxed, comfortable look and this maxi cotton skirt played well with my mood and my jacket. Needless to say it was an easy afternoon, spent with friens by the pool.
PS: Along with the pictures, I’m leaving you with a short clip. I hope you like it!
You do not need to be super observant to have noticed that A-line button ups is the way to go about skirts these days. They are cool, effortlessly chic, and play well with absolutely anything! And as it happens, they are also one of my favourite trends of the season. If we talk materials, I would say, opt for suedes or denims. And lengths? Although the queens of street-style have showcased them in a parade of lengths, I will always vow for minis!
I tend to swindle between ladylike looks and understated casual ones. A few weeks ago I found this beautiful Chanel-esque jacket (sorry for so blatantly making up my own terms), which was desperately calling for a feminine combination. Button-up skirts, enjoying center stage for the time being, seemed like a more than fair partner to the printed outer piece. Funny enough, it was not until I wore the look that I realized how at ease I felt with every garment on its own (the blue top that I wore had that inevitable sensuality that a lose shirt gives to women… LOVE, LOVE, LOVE) which made the outfit even better.
