While looking into this season’s trends, I read somewhere on the net that “if it isn’t off the shoulder it isn’t right”. And according to every other designer, this is one the truest statements that sums SS17’s runways. Although slowly, but surely the shoulder mania is reinterpreting itself -I dare to say that we will soon be witnessing the revival of the one-shoulder trend, as opposed to the current whole collarbone exposure-, we still are in the major boom of cold shoulders. The already hot temperatures, make me very thankful for the trend, and so, here I leave you with a little number that makes me crave even more for summer. I hope you guys like it!
PS: Oh and btw, I’m absolutely nuts over these gorgeous, super colorful and practical Colombian bags! So proud of my friend from @Mestizo_sv!
By now, if you love, breathe, and live fashion to a certain minimum, you know that hussar inspired jackets are one of the straight-out-of-the-oven hot pieces of the season. Inspirited by that epoch, I wore a black romper with a military green jacket and a pair of ankle boots. A look that owns both, the decorum of olden times chivalry, and the sexiness of a little short jumpsuit. I hope you like it!
Hi everyone! Last weekend I took a little escapade to the beach. The palms, the sun and the the refreshing sparklings were the perfect company for a short getaway. It all reminded me of this shoot I did, not too long ago. The greens, harmoniously, contrasting with the dashes of yellow and red of the backpack and romper; and the light blue of the shirt works well for an easy cover up.
Remember that fashion was made to bring excitement, and fun into our lives. I always like to incorporate interesting twists into my everyday outfits, through what may seem like not so obvious fashion pieces, and umbrella, for instance. The rainy season in El Salvador has just started, and an umbrella is the must-have item of the moment. This look wouldn’t be the same without the zebra print pattern that adds a whimsical splash.
