Hi guys! For those who celebrated labour day on Monday, I hope you had a great long weekend! And for those of you who didn’t, well we are already halfway through the week, so do not despair!
I have been a little bit absent for the last week, but there is a very good reason for that. I am currently working on a few really exciting projects, one of them directly linked to Red Rosy Chic, and well, that has absorbed a lot of my time, and will continue to do so for the upcoming days, so please bare with me a bit. Nevertheless, here is one of my latest looks. Pink has always been a dear colour of mine, and the current season has me relishing on it.
Choker tops have permeated my IG feed for a while, but until now, the closest I had come in contact with them was through the tips of my fidgety fingers on the screen. As much as I love trying new trends, I hadn’t attempted to make the style my own. So it was by time that I did. Here is a personal summary of my experience:
Perfect piece for an everyday look.
Necklaces are optional, if not obsolete.
At all costs, avoid wearing it on hot summer days.
Have you tried choker tops? What’s your intake? Let me know if there is a trend in particular you want me to try!
Bare with me a post! I know you are expecting the second high waist jeans look, but it is Easter holidays, and everyone, even me, is hurtling out of the city, and anxiously trading asphalt for sand, and coffees for coconuts. I am not exaggerating when I say that this week will not see me wearing anything but shorts, bathing suits and sandals; if they come with pompoms or tassels, all the better! The days ahead promise a good deal of chilling, and tanning. Hope you have a great holiday!
Last week, I was pretty much a guest at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Three, of the five days, of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week took place at the newly built convention centre and its terrace. So unsurprisingly, I decided to shoot a few looks there.
Hi lovely ones! If you have been keeping up with the runways, you must have realized that one of the upcoming trends are slitted sleeves. Designers have turned the flared sleeves trend up a notch by slicing straight through them. The new silhouette makes up for a very classy look. Although this blazer could be more accurately included under the cape trend, it can still be considered within the slit sleeve trend’s borderlines. It has become one of my go to layering pieces for work days, particularly because it is super easy to wear and perfect for elevating any look.
PS: Aren’t these flats to die for? Talk about smart footwear!
