Beach Dreaming

IMG_9401

I hope you all enjoyed the few days off. New York was a nice break for me, but coming back home to the warm weather is always a pleasant feeling. I haven’t been able to go to the beach for a while now, and I really feel like I could use a good tan. I have realized too that I don’t own much beachwear pieces, and so I’m definitely on the hunt. I found this dress to be not only pretty but comfortable as well.

Tribal

IMG_45682

We are at the doorstep of April, and really, all I can think of now are holidays! Although I will be heading to the cold, I know that many of you are probably planning to go to the beach. So I thought you would love to see a few more summer looks. I loved the tribal detail on this dress that adds a special splash of colour and that makes it perfect for the season.

At Ease

IMG_3039

Above all, to me, beach equals ease. The ease that comes with the balmy graze of the summer sun rays, and with the crisp, clear water of the pool. And so, when it comes to beachwear I am prone to search for that easiness. A short, lose romper is always a good solution for a cute, effortless outfit. Throw in a sun hat, and a pair of shades and you will have the right amount of glam covered!

Pick of the Week: Pom-poms

insidious

1st.September.2014. Can you believe it? We all know what that means… that even if we live in a tropical country, fashion is bound to change. However, since in El Salvador we pretty much enjoy our sultry weather all year round, I’ve decided to make a pick of the week that may seem not quite appropriate for the time of year in those northern countries.

This week I’m all in for pom-poms! Especially if they come dangling and cascading off shorts, rompers, jackets, and kimonos; simply because they are as cute as can be! If you have the pleasure and luck of living in a country like mine you can certainly go about hunting for these little treasures, perfect for the beach, for the lake, and, if you adore them like me, for basically anywhere!

Pick of the Week: Flash Tattoos

One of my latest fashion craves are Flash Tattoos. You probably have seen them worn by celebs such as SJP, or on magazines. I’m talking about tattoos that simulate real jewellery. Remember how when you were little you use to cover yourself up with sticker tattoos that came inside the bags of chips? Well these ones work exactly in the same way!

1. Choose your favourite body part.
2. Place the tattoo facing downwards.
3. Use a wet cloth to damp the paper.
4. Remove the paper and…
Voilà! You’ve gotten yourself a non-remorseful, shimmering tattoo or a damn cool accessory, if you rather.

Lima

DSC_0147
As I have mentioned before, I’m currently traveling through South America. I’ve had the luck of visiting some amazing corners of the World! So here is my first travel post of the trip.

My first stop was Lima, Peru’s capital. It was really more of a pit stop as I was barely in the city for a day, but my short stay was surely worth it. The food was amazing, and the coastline was beautiful.
