Hush, hush to all the once critical, finger-pointing skeptics that belittled Victoria Beckham’s drastic move into fashion. With her recently launched look book for Target, she has proven her worth one more time. The Spring collection is a gorgeous concoction of gingham, scallops, and color, all sprinkled about in a size-inclusive array, making palpable that: “The inspiration behind this campaign was a world of possibilities-make-believe, imagination, and the unexpected,” as stated by Beckham.
Hi lovely ones! If you have been keeping up with the runways, you must have realized that one of the upcoming trends are slitted sleeves. Designers have turned the flared sleeves trend up a notch by slicing straight through them. The new silhouette makes up for a very classy look. Although this blazer could be more accurately included under the cape trend, it can still be considered within the slit sleeve trend’s borderlines. It has become one of my go to layering pieces for work days, particularly because it is super easy to wear and perfect for elevating any look.
PS: Aren’t these flats to die for? Talk about smart footwear!
The moment I saw these pants, I knew how I wanted to style them. Forget the same-print boxy top that was hanging right next to them, these were begging to be paired with a plain crop top, a long cardigan or vest, and a seductive pair of pumps. Surely enough, when I put it all together, it looked even better than what I had pictured. It is amazing how a sharp look can boost your confidence and give you a change of attitude. When my reflection in the mirror met my eyes, it immediately grinned back at me in cahoots.
There are times in a girl’s life, when the shopaholic brat, inside of her, blinds her choices and rules her actions. As a fashion lover, I can’t deny it, that part of me, wants to get its way more times than I can recall, but I tend to be very rational about it. Nevertheless, I am still only human.
When I opened my latest bank statement it felt like a punch to my gut. It left me panting for air. I was walking on Rebecca Bloomwood’s fuchsia furry boots, and it didn’t feel good. My eyes scrolled down the stiff paper trying to take in every number. There was no mistake. I could account for every figure on the statement.
I blame Johanna Ortiz for my fixation on naked shoulders, and Ellery for the one on flared everything (sleeves, hemlines…). And what do you know?, this black bodysuit combines them both!
I literally, grabbed it on my way out of the store. After fine combing the place from top to bottom, I was stepping out, when my eyes fell upon the ample sleeves. I grabbed the bodysuit, pulled one sleeve up to a 90 degree angle, and fell in love with the cascading extra cloth that draped gracefully. Despite de unpracticality of it, -I mean, for real, who needs XL sleeves plunging into glasses or sweeping across the table?,- its crushing style blur the unlucky scenarios away.
Hi, gorgeous people! Here is a random fact about me: If there is one thing that can make me feel happy and upbeat it is pompoms! I adore this cute off-the-shoulder top with the little, dangling details (surprise, surprise, I told you our shoulders were in). The beaded strings really add a dash of color and playfulness to the look.
On the other hand, I really like how the dark blue top contrasts with the rich brick color of the jeans. Is it weird that I get a soothing feeling while admiring the harmony between this two hues (ha!)? Do you agree?
