Not too long ago, I started an affair. It has been madness. And though seasons have come and gone, my secret passion hasn’t diminished at all. If anything, it has intensified. The object of my obsession: statement earrings. The bigger, the better. So it was only logical that my stomach should feel like a cloud of butterflies, and that my senses would become numb at the mere sight of this geometric earcuff. A cool piece of jewellery, that achieves rock & roll vibes.
With all the 70’s love in the air, falling for certain bits and pieces seems inevitable. Velvety, long dresses are ideal for a weekend, laid-back look, particularly if you are not willing to compromise in style. And what’s more 70’s than fringe? This tan satchel is the perfect fit for this outfit. I added my trusty, super comfortable golden gladiators and Voila! Yes, 70’s love is in the air!
If there is one thing that I like doing is trying out different looks with one same garment, it forces me into experiencing with my own wardrobe and practicing my styling skills. For instance, I have worn this super comfy dress in two totally different ways. Too bad I don’t have images of my other look, but just picture this: Gray, striped dress + chunky heel, ankle boots + maxi, gray cardigan. Let me say that it was actually a rather chic, effortless result. Here I leave you with my second look with that one same dress. x
Fringe, pussy bows, and mini skirts, are only a few of the staples that pinpoint the 70’s trend. Inspired by those revolutionary years, I put together a look in a neutral colour palette. I hope you like it!
